Fall Program 2011
Registration begins August 1, 2011.

Chinese Language K-12

Weekday After School Program
Monday to Friday 3:30p.m.-6:30p.m.
Five months of K-12th Grade Chinese Languages (Cantonese or Mandarin)
 Kindergarten classes are only available for children ages 4 to 6
 
Course Outline: 3:30p.m - 4:15p.m Homework Tutoring
4:15p.m - 6:30p.m
Chinese Language (reading and writing)
*On Fridays from 4:30p.m - 6:00p.m there will be FREE dancing
& singing classes offered for weekday and weekend students.*
Spaces are limited for weekday program.
      Tuition includes Registration fee and Chinese Textbooks
Classes start September 7, 2011.
 


Saturday/Sunday Chinese Program
   
Five months of K-12th Grade Chinese Languages (Cantonese or Mandarin)
Kindergarten classes are only available for children ages 4 to 6
Morning Session 10:00 a.m - 1:00p.m
Afternoon Session 2:00p.m - 5:00p.m

Course Outline: Chinese Language (reading and writing)

Tuition: $140 (Includes Chinese Textbooks, Workbooks, and Registration Fee)

We only accept students age 4 and up
Students who are registering for kindergarten classes, please bring
Birth Certificate or Immunization Paper for proof of age.
 

Classes start September 10, 2011. (Saturday Program)
                September 11, 2011. (Sunday Program)


Adult Mandarin Classes
        Saturday Beginner: 2:00p.m.-4:00p.m.
                                    Intermediate/Advance: 2:00p.m.-4:00 p.m.
                Sunday Beginner: 10:00a.m. - 12:00p.m.
                                   Intermediate/Advanced: 10:00a.m. - 12:00p.m.
                       
Classes are subject to change!

Course Outline:
The class focuses on pronunciation, listening, reading and conversational skills
Tuition: $
220 (Chinese textbook is not included)
We only accept students age 18 and up.
 

Drawing or Dance Program
Drawing: Saturday Morning 10:00a.m.-12:00 p.m.
               Saturday Afternoon 2:00p.m. - 4:00p.m.
              Sunday Morning 10:00a.m.-12:00 p.m.
               Saturday Afternoon 2:00p.m. - 4:00p.m.
   Dance:  Saturday Afternoon 2:00p.m. - 4:00p.m.

Course Outline: Drawing or Traditional Chinese Dance
Tuition: $170 (Five Months)
We only accept students age 5 and up.
 
 


Other Programs

Beside studying Chinese in classrooms, our teachers extend the learning through many different after school activities. The NYCS has the following programs and organizations during the summer.

Programs & Organizations
NYCS Drum Corps Offers a variety of lessons for musical instruments such as horn, fife, drum and flag twirling. It has been awarded many times at National competitions and festivals. http://www.crimsonkings.com
